General terms and conditions 

1. These terms apply between the participant and the organizer of the run and registration for the tournament includes the participant’s consent to abide by the Terms.
2. The organizer is not responsible for the health of participants in the runs organized, during or in connection with the runs. Furthermore, the moderator or its employees and collaborators will not guarantee any loss, either physical or financial, suffered by participants as a result of participation.
3. The moderator may revise or amend these terms for unforeseeable reasons, such as natural disasters or weather. If changes are made to the terms, they will be notified to participants via email.
4. The person who registers more participants than him- or herself in the tournament agrees to be responsible for presenting the terms and conditions to those they registered. If they are not willing to accept the Terms, a written comment must be received by the moderator within two days of registration.
5. A person who registers him or herself and others in the run agrees to grant the run organizer permission to use registration information, subject to the fact that registration or use of the information is a normal part of the run’s activities. This refers to the publication of results, general mailings, e-mails, and information on the run’s website
6. Personal information provided by participants will be handled in full confidentiality and not shared with any third parties. All photos taken by official photographers for the run of its participants reserve the right to be used in marketing and promotional materials.
7. The run organizer could send participants a small number of emails with important announcements such as information about the run in question, schedule changes & registration. There is always the opportunity to unsubscribe from this mailing list.

Terms of payment

1. During the registration process, there is a calculator that displays the price in ISK.
2. The total amount of the participation fee stated by the calculator is the final price.
3. Buy-in fees are non-refundable.
4. Buy-in fees cannot be stored for next year’s run.
5. If the tournament does not take place due to unforeseeable events, such as natural disasters, weather, etc., participation fees paid for the races will not be refunded.

These provisions and terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case arises because of registration or participation, it shall be brought before the District Court of South Iceland.
